Phattire.net
My name is Mike O'Hara. I'm a NYC based freelance photographer, urban cyclist and positive individual. My images are predominantly of an abandoned / dilapidated genre. [that is absolutely my subject of choice] Although the content will vary quite a bit, you'll find its roots tangled around the urban environment, cycling and things commonly overlooked.

Recent news
As you can see phattire.net has changed it's image. But that's only the tip of the iceberg. In June, Natasha and I moved to the city that never sleeps, leaving behind beautiful Baltimore and all of it's splendor. Yes, we've said goodbye to our spacious loft apartment, slow paced environment and Natty Boh. And said hello to cramped quarters, hustle & bustle and the eat or be eaten atmosphere.

It's not all that bad here though, NYC is the best! Limitless photo opportunities await around every corner, bodegas provide good cheap joe and my day job, of course, is a lot more enjoyable.

Current project
This past week my friend Dave and I decided to give each other another mini photo assignment. This time my assigned subject wass vertigo. I gave Dave the word common. The guidelines were simple: prepare three to five images of something related to these subjects representing it photographically in either a literal or figurative way. No restrictions. Curious to see what next week's subject will be!
